Living Hope is a fellowship of believers in Springfield, Missouri.
We believe the church is a bride being made ready for a lovesick God.
Does that sound a little extravagant? He loves the church that much!
He is preparing us- you and I- for that great wedding day.
We believe that the church in Springfield is bigger than our four walls.
We are one of the meeting places, yes, with our own unique flavor.
We certainly are not perfect- we have not yet arrived.
Yet we are a fellowship of believers who desires to be a genuine expression of Christ in
our world, all the while fully aware that we are made of the stuff of earth
just like you.
Yes, God takes fragile clay pots, as we are, and makes something beautiful of them for
His use!
What we are really passionate about is bringing the life of God into our experience.
We are passionate about encountering the man Jesus.
That means that the corporate church experience must have an atmosphere of worship
and awe that honors God and humbles man. God can fill an earnest, seeking heart.
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek:
that I may dwell in the house
of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the
beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.”
Psalm 27:4
Intimacy and communion with God begins with the revelation of God’s word- the
knowledge of God internalized to affect us at the heart level. That unveiling of God’s
heart enflames our heart to respond in love.
When His life and power overflows my heart like a river (John 7:38), it affects every part
of my person. We have spill-over passion!
It is the adamant pressing in of the 1st commandment so that we may also fulfill the 2nd.
“Jesus answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second
is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:35-37
Another way to describe our aim is extravagant devotion to God. We are not interested in
religious duty. Whole-hearted devotion nurtures a vibrant and giving spirit.

We are located at 2835 E. Division Street, about a ½ mile west of Highway 65, almost to the first stop light at Cedarbrook. On the north side of the street is the Three Oaks Center, where the Buck Stove is the prominent corner business. We are about half way down in that plaza, in Suite I. See Map.

We meet: Sunday mornings from 10:00 – noon for worship and the Word
Sunday evenings from 5:00 – 7:00 pm for Living Room Fellowship
Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for prayer
